The Chicago Cubs took on the New York Yankees Friday Night at Yankee Stadium. The Cubs offense was sluggish but got on the board thanks to a solo homer by Jason Heyward. Wade Miley was only able to go three innings for the Cubs, eventually leaving the game with arm soreness. The game went to extra innings tied at 1-1, until the Yankees finally broke through in the bottom of the 13th to escape with a 2-1 win.
