Machine Gun Walker
A former police officer turned soldier during World War II, William E. 'Machine Gun" Walker was an enigma of a man. Brilliant with radios, chemicals, and electronics, family and friends noticed a marked change in him when he returned from serving in the South Pacific. What none of them knew was that the sweet young man they had known had died on the shores of a small island, and that the man who had returned to them was prepared to stop future wars at any cost.
