Description

It began in the spring of 1997 in the southeastern corner of Louisiana. The bodies of young men, predominantly black. found in drainage ditches, alongside roadways, and tossed into forests like so much garbage. At first, police were unable to link any of them, but as the years stretched on and more bodies appeared, they realized that they had a killer stalking the homeless of their communities. A twisted individual who spent his days helping neighbors and his nights dressed as Patti Labelle, while taking the lives of at least 23 men and boys.
