Good Lies We Believe 👀
Pastor Jon continued through Romans at the Crossroads and discussed 3 lies that keep us from truly depending on Christ:
1️⃣ “I’m not that person.”➡️ Comparing yourself to others won’t make you right with God (Romans 2:1-5)
2️⃣ “I’m not that lost.”➡️ It’s not about how far you’ve strayed—it’s about trusting in Jesus’ finished work (Romans 2:16-20)
3️⃣ “I’m not that bad.”➡️ Even our best efforts fall short. Rely on Christ, not your own goodness (Romans 2:21-29)
We don’t need to try harder—we need to depend deeper. 💯
