The Boston Bruins have signed defenseman Hampus Lindholm to an 8-year contract extension.
This comes a day after the Bruins acquired Lindhom and defenseman Kodie Curran from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Urho Vaakanainen, defenseman John Moore, a 2022 first-round draft pick, a 2023 second-round draft pick and a 2024 second-round draft pick.
The extension will put Lindholm in Boston's top 4 for the foreseeable future.
