Dr. Lori Zimmerman knew me before I was born! She was actually my babysitter when I was a little boy. Lori's parents & my parents were very close friends when we were young, and so we crossed paths often! And when I was in college in Indiana, when I got sick, Lori was my doctor! Over the last 20 years, we have connected from time to time during our family trips to Indiana, or when her family adventured out to Arizona!
Such a blessing to have this conversation with Lori! She offers such a beautiful perspective....challenging us all to see the gifts in the traditional medicine world & in the functional medicine world. Reminding us that we don't have to choose between the 2, but we can be supported by both in our lives. We also learn what led Lori to become a DO, and how she always sought to keep family first, even while giving so much to her community as a family doctor.
