The court also ruled that a website designer has the right to refuse to create websites for same-sex couples, a decision that comes half a decade after the court ruled that a cake shop owner had a first amendment right to refuse to bake cakes for LGBTQ+ customers. Barrett and Luna unpack the corruption of the court and discuss the conservative tilt that the court has now.
The rulings are upsetting and show a bleak future, but Barrett says it's better for people to be informed rather than ignorant, coining this week's phrase, "Awareness is bliss."
