The History Channel’s show Alone follows a group of contestants as they explore an area – in Season 7, the most extreme challenge yet, the Arctic! – for 100 days. The stakes were high this season, with $1,000,000 as the prize for the winner.
Out of the ten contestants, two were women, and one of those women was from Ontario, Canada. Sitting on the couch watching the show, I told my partner that I was going to have this woman on the podcast, and here we are!
Kielyn joins me on today’s episode, and we hear about her journey into this experience, the lead-up and the weight gain, the mental and emotional pulls and takeaways throughout the time in the Arctic, and what coming back home and reintegration was like. Kielyn shares a little about her business, Lure of the North, and what their next huge business endeavours are!
Kielyn made it to day 80 on her quest to 100 days Alone in the Arctic, and I am thrilled to honour Kielyn and her experience with my 100th episode! So fitting!
