The Canary Yellow wasn’t started to just share his music. It was created to resonate with an audience that needs the love, support, compassion and companionship that Josh needed through his early life.
Josh moved around a lot as a kid, and through various family structures and experiences, found music to be his safety. Music allows for deep insight and self exploration, and has proven that although beautiful things can come from dark places, joy and light can be found in such small moments. Growing into the role of a husband and recently a father, life has begun to unfold in ways that allow Josh to keep navigating his own struggles with mental health while creating safe spaces for the next generation to feel less alone, while owning their experiences and honouring their emotions.
