Jermaine Fowler is a Public Educator and Historical Storyteller, and his passion is undeniable. Jermaine explores society, culture, biographies, and politics, through a historic lens, and shares his learnings through a variety of mediums, most recently, his podcast, The Humanity Archive.
I came across Jermaine’s page after my time with Lettie Schumate, my guest from June 22. Lettie and Jermaine have a shared interest in passion for history, and connecting the dots, bringing knowledge forward and making it available for the education of others.
In this conversation, Jermaine shares the journey into the podcast world, how he was called “The Professor” by his friends when he was a kid, and how his trait of being a lifelong learner has brought him into sharing his love of history with others.
Among other things, we talk about finding balance in the world we live in, the origin of The Humanity Archive, and the importance of emotional awareness, and emotional and self regulation in schools.
