Sometimes, the road of your relationship can get rocky... and I mean REALLY Rocky🥴
No matter how much love is present,
or how long you’ve been together,
or how strong you believe your foundation is
It can get really tough.
When you’ve been together over 30 years, there are PLENTY of rocky roads
Some of these roads...
you can find your way through rather quickly 🥳
other rocky roads seem to stretch on for miles and miles and miles and miles 😳
with absolutely no end in site 🙈
It's true that while the tough times aren’t as much fun for us to talk, they are a *vital* piece of our relationship
In fact, the discord that surfaced down those long, winding, and seeming endless rocky roads,
is what spawned my personal growth
The unhappiness I was feeling forced me to find my way back to ME
which then created space and room for me to find my way back to US
which was the ultimate catalyst in getting us and our relationship to the place it is now.
While this week’s episode, made us both a bit uncomfortable😅
