Have you ever wondered what the difference is between bragging and arrogance? Bragging is outward self-exaltation and arrogance is inward pride. Bragging is noticeable to others, while arrogance can pass unnoticed as it nestles in the heart. Bragging reveals itself in self-praise, emphasizing personal merit, or attracting attention for the praise of others. Arrogance is internal self-exaltation. If bragging is when a person signals that he deserves praise, then arrogance is when he feels he deserves praise. Arrogance can even exist with a form of outward humility.
