Paul not only conferred grace upon the Ephesian believers, but also peace. God wants His people to be at peace with all men (Rom. 12:18). That is, He wants us to be on good terms with everyone. However, what is most important (even imperative) is for all men to be at peace with God. Without this peace, which can only be found in Christ, no one will be saved, nor will they experience true peace.
