Love should be the chief disposition of our souls toward God. Our God seeks to occupy the highest place in our thinking and to be the apex of our affections and desires. Thus, we must love Him supremely. It is this supreme love for God that will shape and color everything else that we do or say. This supreme love will cleanse and purify.
