So what must the people of Israel do? They must remember their God—that He is powerful. He is not like the false gods who are impotent and are unable to help in any way. This God is never tired nor grows weary like a man. They must remember that their God is faithful—He is mighty in power and has promised to rescue His people from their captivity. He is the Everlasting God, the One who has always existed, the great and almighty Creator of all things. Nothing is impossible for Him; no problem is too great!
