The author of Hebrews purposefully places Christ at the center of our faith. Christ Himself, His superiority and His sacrifice for salvation, is the main object of our confession. As this truth is attacked by enemies of the gospel, it is imperative that we are convinced of it. This truth is necessary so we can make use of His exceptional high priestly ministry before God in prayer. Our faithfulness to Christ is manifested in a daily choice to be constant in prayer and to strive to glorify God in our lives.
