We know from Scripture that all things were once united together in one perfect order. Everything was beautiful to behold; it was very good (Gen. 1:31). But then sin came and broke the unity. Now there is disunity and conflict in the spiritual realms and on earth. We even see disagreements and factions in the church, the body of Christ. And our own hearts are often divided.
