MarketsStocks ended the trading day higher, after minutes released from the latest meeting of the Federal Reserve showed the central bank is ready to stimulate the economy. The Dow jumped 11 points, closing at 11,020. The S&P 500 grew by four points, finishing up at 1,170.  The Nasdaq added 16 points, ending at 2,418. The Fed's September meeting minutes also show that the central bank is concerned inflation was too low. Fed policy-makers indicated that they wanted to resume their strategy of buying government debt.
