Specifically in the United States, the Travel & Tourism market is expected to generate a revenue of $198.70 billion.
According to gobankingrates.com, Americans spend between $2,000 and $3,000 per year on travel, which includes food, entertainment, hotels, and flights. However, the average cost of a vacation varies by generation, with Gen Z spending the least at $1,953 per trip, and the Silent Generation spending the most at $3,543.
