The Philadelphia Phillies struggles continued Saturday night when they took an 11-1 loss to the Diamondbacks! 

Aaron Nola started for the Phils and labored to get through 5innings of work. In total, Nola allowed 4 runs, 3 earned on 9 hits and 3 walks and 2 homers. He needed 88 pitches to get through his start. 

After Nola, Jose Ruiz tossed a 1-2-3 6th inning before giving way to Yunior Marte. That’s where the game went off the rails! Marte gave up 7 runs in just .2 innings, including 2 homers. 

As for the bats, the Phillies had their chances to make some noise, but went 0-8 w/ RISP. Their lone run came on an RBI ground out by Bryce Harper in the 5th. At the time, that made it a 2-1 game with the D-Backs in front. 

Alec Bohm did record a single in the game, to extend his hitting streak to 12 games, and his on-base streak to 28 games.
