The Phillies lost to the Pirates, 4-1 and have now lost their 2nd straight series and suffered their first 3-game losing streak since May 26th- 28th (COL & SF). 

Cristopher Sanchez made the start and allowed just 2 runs over 5.2 innings, but his offense couldn’t help him out. 

The Phillies bats came up with just 4 hits in the game and were held scoreless for 12 innings, dating back to the 6th inning of game one, until Bryce Harper hit his 22nd homer of the season, a solo shot in the 9th inning of the loss. 

Matt Strahm pitched the 8th inning for the Phillies and game up a 2-run home run to O’Neil Cruz. 

The loss spoiled JT Realmuto's return from a IL stint of over a month. He went 1-for-3 with a great throw to catch Ke'Bryan Hayes stealing in the 2nd.
