Ranger Suarez made the start for the Phillies and struggled again. He lasted just 2 innings allowing 6 runs on 7 hits with 2 walks and a home run allowed. Ranger has now gone 12 straight starts without recording a quality start (6ip 3er or fewer).

The Phillies’ bats didn’t do much either as they came up with just 4 hits in the loss. Austin Hays accounted for half the Phillies hits and their only run as he hit a solo homer in the 8th inning to get the Phils on the board.
