Buxton is the perfect town, located on the Saco River, Buxton is situated close to Portland and Biddeford while still surrounded by the woods! Salmon Falls is the place for you if you enjoy hiking and swimming. Or if you want some larger lakes you are a quick drive to the Sebego lake region. There are a lot of great farms in Buxton and properties tend to be spread out so you are not on top of your neighbor! With a small government of selectmen, and their own police, fire, and emergency services you do not have to worry about slow response times living in a less populated area.
