One of the things I love about talking with Melissa is that she IS a podcaster herself. Meandering with her is kind of like playing badminton…she so easily slips into interview mode, batts me the birdie giving me space to wonder about my past as a parent, for example, and then I batt it back to her and she gets to talk about Beyoncé! Such is the gift of talking with people in this big world of ours.
Melissa is from New York City and loves the hustle of the big city. She talks about wonder as it comes up in her life, living now on Staten Island, with her parents in the home where she grew up.
