The Minnesota Wild are back in the playoffs, after finishing the season with the coveted 100 point mark. The Wild find themselves in a similar position as they did last year, with the 7th seed in the west, as they take on the hated St. Louis Blues, who were once considered the worst possible match up for Minnesota. Ever since March however, the Wild turned the tide between these teams, and the Blues playoff history leaves something to be desired, making this series ever winnable.
