Today’s symbol is the fig leaf, which reminds us that God desires lives that bear real fruit—love, joy, peace, and more—through the work of His Spirit in us. This story shows us that we cannot produce that kind of fruit on our own, but that Jesus gives us new hearts that grow good fruit from the inside out.
