Jeff Weltman came to the Orlando Magic not promising a whole ton. His first year was largely one of evaluation as he tried to figure out what was left him. This summer will be the first that we can really judge Weltman.
With the benefit of hindsight, though, there are definitely some opportunities missed the Magic would like back.
But now is the time to look forward and Weltman will have his work cut out for him to remake the franchise. And it starts with the head coach. Where a decision could be coming soon as the Magic winnow down their candidates.
