It's remarkable how much Exodus deals with the instructions and details regarding the construction of the Tabernacle. The length given in the text is significant in several ways. One is that it tells us God cares about creativity and beauty. He is a creative God, and we, as those made in his image, are also to be creative. He told Moses, "for beauty and glory."
