God delivers his people out of bondage and oppression from tyrannical Egypt. He leads his people out by a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. The LORD ultimately secures victory for his people and destroys Pharaoh and his army in the sea. This historical triumph also pictures what Christ has done for his people.
