In this “Like Dragons Did They Fight” series podcast Karen Broadhead interviews a father of eight children about his struggle with sexual addiction and how he searched to find a program that helped him overcome his struggle. After some searching he found the Men of Moroni addiction recovery program for adult men and found a place to work through his addiction as well as a sense of brotherly security. Tune in as this father overcomes his addiction and begins the healing process to support himself as well as his wife and family and eventually became a Mentor for the other men who were struggling like he had.
The Men of Moroni is a group of men who have dedicated themselves to helping each other overcome unwanted pornography and/or masturbation addictions. In a “Knights of the Round Table” environment, they encourage and help their brethren in the fight against this demon that assails them. Led by a certified, licensed professional clinician, or a certified mentor, they practice and develop the warrior instincts that are required to conquer these addictions for the rest of their lives. They learn the strategies that the adversary will use against them, and are trained how to use the most powerful weapons known to science and spirituality to defeat him.
Life Changing Services (LCS) Counseling Center and Therapeutic Services, led by Maurice Harker, is a group of clinicians who belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and provide impactful therapeutic treatment and self-mastery programs for individuals, families, and couples. We offer specialized programs for both young men and men who are challenged with pornography or other sexual addictions. We also provide a therapeutic treatment program for women and young women who are challenged with low self-worth, anxiety, depression, sexual misbehavior including pornography, self-harming or other unhealthy behaviors. Life Changing Services also offers support programs for wives and mothers, as well as a personal self-mastery program for individuals or families. In addition, we offer exceptional individual, marital and family counseling. All of our resources are available in-person and on-line.
