As Christians, we can desire to follow Jesus, but are we willing to give him everything? God can only make something of our lives with the parts we’re willing to give him. Jesus leads by example in laying down his entire life on the altar of the cross and said, “not my will, but your’s be done.” In doing so, we can trust that, on the other side of death, we will also find new life just as Jesus did when he rose from the grave.
