The Symphony enjoyed a day off in Frankfurt before their concert on Friday October 25th. Jim Cunningham had a chance to get some general thoughts on the tour from Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra President and CEO Melia Tourangeau. He also talked to pianist Igor Levit and Music Director Manfred Honeck about why the Mozart Piano Concerto 22 and Rachmaninoff Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini were chosen for the tour.
