Ninety years ago today, on March 25th, 1931, nine Black teenagers were falsely accused of raping two white women on a train near Scottsboro, Ala. They soon became known as the Scottsboro Boys. John Miller, Assistant Director and Associate Professor at the University of Alabama's New College, shares their story and talks about working to obtain posthumous pardons for three of the Scottsboro defendants in recent years.
