Description

How do we bring life back into the forgotten spaces of our urban landscape?

In this episode we sit down with River City Company's Amy Donahue to learn more about River City Company and preview their latest project, Passageways, a design competition in partnership with the Tennessee chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The purpose of Passageways is to "re-imagine Chattanooga’s alleyways; to breathe life into these auxiliary spaces, to create a place, a destination in itself, and to demonstrate the value, the importance, and the potential of these between spaces and the significance they have to our built urban fabric."

Party In The Passageways will be the unveiling event for the design competition taking place on Wednesday, August 24th from 5:30-8:30pm at Miller Plaza. Please join us for an evening of exploration, design, music, and more. Plus you will have the chance to meet the architects and designers from around the country and the world who created these beautiful spaces for our community to enjoy!
