There was a lot to like in the Arizona Spring Football Game and chief among those was the improved talent across the board at the quarterback position.
Yes, Jayden De Laura wasn’t perfect but he certainly showed the talent to love the ball up and down the field.
But it was freshman signal caller Noah Fifita who stole the show engineering multiple touchdown drives and looking very calm in process.
The wide receiver and tight end units are going to be problems for the rest of the conference as players like Keyan Burnett, AJ Jones and Tetairoa McMillan are all huge. Jedd Fisch made a point of wanting to get bigger at that position and he certainly did.
On defense, Hunter Echols and Jalen Harris will be responsible for the bulk of the pass rush and they certainly impressed Saturday.
Much is expected of safety Christian Young on the back end and he certainly lived up to those expectations as one of the leaders of the team.
