Woohoo, our second Doctales episode is full of cheeky fun and some of the stuff that makes us laugh. Mays doing a wine tasting while Tim is imbibing in the green fairy, stay tuned.
So many funny things we hear patients say and do over the years! We keep this episode HIPPA compliant and share some of the crap we have seen and heard. We all know that patients are obsessed with taking their temperature, knowing their “normal temperature’ and upset if we challenge them on it.
From “my kidneys hurt” to “my fever is normally 97 degrees” , we share some of the crazy fixations and verbiage. We know you all love foreign body stories...yep there's a story about misplaced garlic cloves and misuse of ‘moss kill” spray. Of course EVERYONE has a high pain threshold, and you all seem to think you need antibiotics for bronchitis.. these are a few of the myths we debunk ( and laugh at in the process)
We never tire of getting complimented on how “young we look” but yes WE ARE old enough to be doctors.
