On hour one of Sportsnet Today, Logan Gordon and Shan Virjee discuss the Flames and New York islanders game over the weekend. The guys discuss the Flames' performance and resiliency despite all the injuries and illness some of the players are dealing with. Logan and Shan are throwing flowers to players that are stepping up in the push for the playoffs, like Jonathan Huberdeau.
(21:53) Later on, Logan and Shan discuss how surprised they are about the resurgence of the St. Louis Blues since the 4 Nations break. They discuss some of the stand out players, like Dylan Holloway who was named 3rd star of the week. The guys also talk about other reasons why the Blues could be on this streak, and if they should be the favorite to make the playoffs over the Flames. The guys finish by discussing the wildcard push in both the east and west.
