Description

THIS IS AN ANNA WITH 2Ns EPISODE BEFORE I REBRANDED TO CONFIDENT BUSINESS ENGLISH. I RECOMMEND STARTING WITH THE MOST RECENT CONFIDENT BUSINESS ENGLISH EPISODES.

A lot of students get confused between the Verbs Hope and Wish. Today I'm going to tackle a few ways you can use the verb Hope in English in the Future, Present and Past.

Students can use Hope a lot when talking about the future and present but less so in the past. It's actually a really common verb and use a lot in business English when writing emails, so it is a good thing to have a command of.

I also show you a way you might hear Hope used to give insults!

The sentence structures cover these things in Spanish Espero que + subjunctive in past, Espera que hayas + past participle, Esperaba que + subjunctive in past.

I hope you enjoy this episode (see! we use it all the time)
