So, maybe they grapple a bit about what happens first, next and last, but Minki and Tracy agree on one thing in this episode: this is a pretty great Spanish horror flick, full of surprising moments and anxiety-inducing scenes. Macarena Gómez, whose portrayal of a religious, agoraphobic seamstress and overly protective older sister, delivers emotions that are so believable that the hosts felt bad for her in moments of sadness and terrified of her in moments of bat-sh_t craziness. Choosing a Shudder Exclusive for this “5th Anniversary episode” these two should probably change the name of the podcast to: “We Love Shudder.”
