The Tampa Bay Rays dealt with numerous injuries that caused players to be utilized for need rather than want. Taylor Walls is such a player. He amassed more than 400 plate appearances due to long injury stints by both Brandon Lowe and Wander Franco. Could he perform better if he wasn't used in an everyday role? Would dropping the switch-hitting increase his offensive production? Will he be a part of the team in 2023?
