The Tampa Bay Rays made a surprising signing late last week as the Rays signed RHP Zach Eflin for a three-year contract for $40M. He will be paid $11 million for the first two years and $18 million for his third and last year of the contract. This is hopefully the first of a few moves that the Rays will be making during the hot stove season. This is already an upgrade for the rotation/bulk role depending on how the Rays will utilize Zach Eflin during his Tampa Bay tenure.
