First we talk to Capt. Justin Leake out of Panama City, FL and hear about the nearshore fishing success he has had recently. He tells us how he sets up a flatline while he is fishing offshore structure. He also gives us an update on the inshore fishery and how they are catching fish with all of the freshwater that is still in the bay system. Next we head over to Pensacola and talk to Capt. Brant Peacher about a recent trip he took to Southwest FL to further explore the diverse fishery there. He also gives us a quick update on the beach fishing in Pensacola. Lastly, we check in with Capt. Lionel James in Destin, FL and find out he catches redfish this time of year. We also get his take on conservation efforts for those big breeder redfish that are so prevalent this time of year and so important to the long term sustainability of the fishery.
