We hear all the time from moms, from women, from people balancing their personal and their business life about how they are tricking themselves into thinking they don't have time when they do. Right?
And also not only do you absolutely have time, but you have time to treat yourself as well. So I'm so excited. We're talking about this subject today because habit stacking is actually a special form of an implantation intention. So rather than pairing your new habit with a particular time and location, which is what most people do, you pair it with a current habit.

- So I'm starting a new habit of doing my Peloton for 30 minutes, four days straight. And the reason it ends up turning into habit is because then I start to feel good. We're at a start to feel good from it. It starts to become something that happens and I'm stacking two things together. (8:34)
- What are those income producing items that need to become a habit? Think about what those are. What are those things in your household that you want to improve on? Or, you want to implement into your house? 10:45)
- Here's another thing that I love is you can work on your mindset just the same way. Blair mentioned at the very beginning, care. Do you not have time for self care? You do. I shouldn't say, do you not, you think you don't, but you do. So why not go and listen to a podcast, we'd love for you to listen to Blessed Momma Bosses ,or listen to a book, or read a book while you're taking a bath. (12:10)
- And if you are trying to pour from an empty cup, you are going to have nothing. Okay? And when Momma's sick, the whole house is down. You know that. So you've got to take care of you, whether that's mentally or physically, whatever you have to do to make that time. And if you can really learn this habit stacking, you'll be able to make that happen. (13:06)
- So I'm killing multiple birds with one step. I am saying happy birthday to the people that I care about that are important to me. I'm checking to see the people who, I don't know if I need to continue to have them on my Facebook with me, or if I can unfriend them and make space for others. ( 14:00)
- So this is the year that I believe that they could really see changes in their health and wellness by using my product. So those are the things that I do. That's habit stacking, guys. It didn't start my birthday messages. Didn't start that way, it started and then I realized I need to start in front of people. I'm just going to start doing that everyday during birthdays, instead of going through a list of a thousand people and trying to figure out who to take off.(14:36)
