(3:47) Well, I am so excited about this topic today because gratitude really does change your attitude. And I have to tell you that we really believe that in my house, Kelly and I firmly believe that. And those of you who've been following my journey over the last month, know that I am right now, currently going through ovarian cancer and you know, going through chemo treatments. And I can tell you one of the number one things besides my faith and my strong knowledge of the word is gratitude. I wake up every morning and write my gratitude's. I go to bed every night, thinking about my gratitude's. And I'm telling you, this is something that got me through some hard times at Ryan. I had years ago with our bankruptcy and his addiction.
(6:42) And once you keep these journals and you see, not only did it change the attitude of our family in the morning, we went from snapping at each other and sometimes getting short with each other and running around like last minute, getting stuff done. So really changing the way that our kids and our in ourselves start the day thinking about, yeah, I really am thankful that we have this beautiful backyard to look at what I really am thankful that my mom packed me lunch today. Yeah, I get that one a lot. I really am thankful that I have a brother or whatever. I mean, it really does change the whole way you view the day. And if we can do one thing to equip our kids before they go out into this world, that is so unpredictable, it's having that heart of gratitude as they walk out the door.
(9:33) So, first thing, what are you going to do? You're going to find someone or something that you can do something kind for today. All right. It can be free. It can cost you something. All right. I think that is kind for someone else. Now, here are a few examples. So what if you are in line this morning going to get your coffee or you're driving through to get lunch, or maybe you are swinging in through a drive-through or you are picking up food for takeout, for your family. What if you took care of the person behind you use meal? Okay. Completely anonymous.
(14:12) You want to make sure that you are focused on gratitude often.
