We have those moments where we feel so close to God then we are not as close to Him and not sure why. He did not go anywhere…guess what…you did. You filled your time with other things, decided those things were important and stopped spending time with your Creator.
Imagine a marriage, when you first get married you spend all the time together you feel one. You love intimate you are with your spouse, you plan time together, you want to be with him every minute of every day. Then time happens, kids may happen, careers get busy, etc. You start to notice a space between you, you notice you went a few days without spending quality time together, you notice a strange difference in your relationship, maybe even become snippy with your spouse not realizing why….it is because you are not focusing on your relationship.
This is what happens with our faith walk, we do so good at our time with God during certain time & others we are distant from God, but he has not changed.
