Sammi had primary amenorrhea, meaning she had never had a period in her life. Nope, not even from a contraceptive pill... she'd never seen blood in her underwear until 27 years old!
When this happens to someone, it's hard for them to believe that it's even possible at all to have a period. I think that's what makes this story so special.
I cannot tell you how long I've been waiting for this episode with Sammi. We started working together over 2 years ago in different capacities and level of support, but Sammi's progress has always been so important to me.
