Kate actually came to us with a period but wanted to conceive. She had been told by multiple doctors that she would never be able to conceive. Deep down, she knew that wasn't true after she had already defied medical odds when she got her first period, despite one doctor telling her that her body just didn't want to have periods. Knowing they were wrong about that, she believed they must also be wrong about her ability to conceive.
