If you're like me, this kind of thing happens A LOT. In this episode we talk about ways that we can stop wandering around the house by putting things in more convenient places, and in more numerous places too.

Quick Tip of the Week: I keep a garbage can in the laundry room to collect dryer lint or fabric softener sheets. It saves me a trip to the kitchen when I need to throw things like this away.
Deeper Time Management Thoughts: We can save steps and thus save time everywhere if we never leave a room with empty hands. When I worked as a server at my parent's restaurant, we had that simple rule: Never have empty hands. I was always picking up dirty dishes to the kitchen or bottles of full ketchup out of the kitchen. The same technique can be applied to our lives at home. When you leave one room of your house, always carry something to be put away in another room.
