Description

In this episode, Dr. Rosina Wiltshire shares insight on how to engage effectively in regional and global processes in pursuit of gender equality. She draws on vast experience negotiating in these spaces, including for the Fourth World Conference on Women held in 1995 in Beijing, China. Dr. Wiltshire stresses the importance of developing personal leadership capacities -- such as through emotional intelligence -- as well as working as a CARICOM bloc to advance common regional priorities.

Her presentation was recorded during the multi-stakeholder meeting “Building a coordinated position for Caribbean negotiations on Beijing +25,” which took place in Bridgetown, Barbados on February 10 and 11, 2020.
