1 Corinthians 11:2-16
HEADSHIP AND SUBMISSION
While we no longer view a woman’s wearing of a head covering as a sign of submission in the Church, male headship is still a reality God calls us to in the Church and in the home. This arrangement reflects the relationship within the Godhead to a watching world when we model it correctly. Scripture calls us to gladly submit ourselves to the authorities God has placed over us within the boundaries He has set. In doing so, we make Jesus known to our neighbors and the nations.
